It seems that Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is corrupted. First, check for corruption with these steps:
- Press the Windows key + R key, enter
wmimgmt.msc, then click OK. - On the right side of the screen, right-click WMI Control (Local), and then click Properties.
- If it doesn't show the "Successfully connected" message, then WMI is corrupted.
Then End Task NPAV Real Time Scanning if Active From Task Manager.
If it is corrupted then Open CMD as Administrator and enter these commands:
net stop winmgmtcd C:\Windows\System32\wbemren Repository Repository_oldcd /winmgmt /resetRepository
Then check if the software issue is resolved or not.
